Your questions
How much does it cost?
Nothing per month. Airbnbox takes 6% + €0.50 per sale, processing fees included.
When do I get paid?
Stripe automatically pays your earnings into your bank account; the next payout date is shown in the app.
Does the guest need to install an app?
No. They scan the QR code with their phone camera and pay in the browser.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
How do I get the QR code?
The app generates a QR code for each box. Print the sheet from the app and stick it on the box.
Do I have to buy your box?
No. The Airbnbox box costs €49, but any mechanical lockbox works: you enter its code in the app and the guest receives it after paying.
Can I sell a bottle without a box?
Yes, with the €10 bottle lock: it fits onto the bottle neck, and the guest gets the 3-digit code after paying, just like with a box.
What if a box is empty?
The app flags boxes to restock. You can also disable the offer in one click: the QR code shows “Back soon”.
Do I need a company?
No, you can sign up as an individual or a company. Stripe verifies your identity at sign-up, as required by law.
Can I sell before the guest arrives?
Yes, with pre-orders: you send a link, the guest chooses and pays, you prepare.
